Mr. Hashem currently serves as the Managing Director for Contract Documents Products and Services at the American Institute of Architects (AIA). In this capacity, Mr. Hashem oversees the offshore development of the software, product planning, and e-commerce integration for this application, as well as many other aspects related to its delivery and support. Mr. Hashem has over 15 years of experience focusing on the management of complex projects developing commercial software, deploying knowledge management solutions, and developing database-driven applications for the collection, analysis, and visualization of data. Previously, Mr. Hashem served as a Senior Program Manager at PPC, where he led knowledge management solution engagements for private and public sector clients. Abstract
This will be a 50 minute session. Mr. Hashem will devote 25 minutes to describe the four key innovations that will be released in the next version of AIA Contract Documents software: data dialog, use of Excel format for certain G forms, the new project pane, and one click custom templates. The balance of the time will be open to answer attendee questions. |
