SDA’s mission is “to advance management and administrative professionals in the A/E/C industry through education, networking and resources.” We are an organization comprised of administrators, marketing and financial personnel who work in the design profession. Among other activities and events, SDA Denver conducts monthly educational programs in the areas of Office Administration/IT, Human Resources, Marketing, Finance and Project Management. These programs provide an excellent opportunity to expand career and industry knowledge as well as build and increase professional support networks.
SDA is a certified provider for continuing education learning units through the AIA/CES Program, and maintains its own National certification program, CDFA, Certified Design Firm Administrator. The CDFA designation shows that the individual has attained a level of expertise in the key areas of administration of a design firm.SDA holds an annual Leadership/Education Symposium in the late spring / early summer, an event that gives SDA members an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and professional development, earn learning units and network with other members.
SDA sustains its presence with the help of donations from design industry firms. The Denver Chapter would like to thank those firms that have donated in the past and extend this opportunity to other firms and associations that may benefit from the knowledge and networking available through this organization.
