President's Communiqué ~ May 2010
Dear Members:
It is with a great sense of pride and a tremendous amount of humility that I write my last Communiqué as the 2009/2010 Denver Chapter President. At the start of this term, we set out together on a mission to further the SDA experience for all of our members – gaining new ones along the way! Through it all, we faced challenges, shared successes, and I cannot express to you how proud I am of what we as a chapter have accomplished!

2009/2010 P.E.A.K. AWARD
Each year, the Chapter officers wish to recognize an individual that goes above and beyond, helping to make the Denver Chapter great! This person is Professional, Enthusiastic, Active and Knowledgeable. A most heartfelt congratulations to Sally DiSciullo, Emeritus, SDA/C - winner of this year’s P.E.A.K. award! We wish to thank you for all that you do for the Denver Chapter!
2010 STAR AWARD
SDA National asked that all chapters recognize one of their members for being the Star they are. SURPRISE!! Pam Loomis, CDFA… we were ALL in on it except for you! Congratulations!! The submittal was forwarded to National and will be displayed at EdSymposium 2010.
ED Symposium 2010
It is right around the corner and not too late to register for EDSymposium 2010! This year, EDSymposium will be held at Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV May 19th - 22nd. Join us to celebrate Karen Roman, CDFA, LEED AP as she is installed as SDA National President!.
Western States Regional Conference 2010
Planning has begun and we are rock’n and roll’n! It’s time to Rise Above! If you are interested in helping organize events or want to be involved in any way, please feel free to contact either myself, Debra Ellis or Sally DiSciullo!
The Chapter is always in need of volunteers for serving on our many committees that can use assistance and new ideas. Serving on a committee is a great way to become active within the chapter and get to know fellow chapter members.
